Nathalie Asmar, Founder
Nathalie qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) with PwC and spent 16 years as an accountant in multiple businesses. In 2013, Nathalie set up her own business, Nathalie Asmar Services Ltd, providing tax and accounting services to sole traders and smaller companies. The company now trades as FitAccounts. Nathalie oversees every client so you benefit from her experience of UK tax and accounting within the fitness industry.
Catherine Barrand, Business Development
Catherine qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) with PwC where she spent 20 years advising external clients and working within their business development team. In 2007, Catherine re-trained with BCPA and she now runs her own successful Pilates business. Catherine is responsible for business development at FitAccounts and updating our services to meet the needs of you, her fellow fitness professionals.
Belinda Batty, Accountant
Belinda has 20 years experience of working in various businesses specialising in bookkeeping and overseeing accounts processes. She is a registered bookkeeper with the Institute of Accountants & Bookkeepers and is currently studying with the AAT. Belinda works with Nathalie preparing self assessments, VAT returns and managing payroll services.
Laura Godfrey, Accountant
Laura is studying towards the ACCA qualification having successfully completed AAT Level 4. She has experience of working in both accountancy practice and industry roles. Laura is also a qualified exercise instructor working with older adults. Laura prepares self assessments, statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
Karen Memani, Bookkeeper
Karen has worked in a number of industries from tourism to education over the years and is also a successful entrepreneur. She holds a degree in Bachelor of Science and a Diploma in Air Travel & Tourism from IIA (India). Karen works closely with you reviewing the receipts and payments, preparing bookkeeping entries and ensuring that every possible expense is claimed whilst remaining compliant with HMRC guidance.
Leena Chaudhary, Bookkeeper
Laura graduated from Delhi University and has completed a course on Systematic Creative Thinking at Imperial College London. She is in her final year of her Chartered Accountancy studies and has worked in an accountancy practice. Leena works on your bookkeeping, reconciling the accounts to the underlying records and preparing the VAT returns.
Lara Tyler, Bookkeeper
Lara is currently studying Accounting and Finance BSc Hons at the University of Bath where she is captain of the Fencing Team. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling. Lara works on your day to day bookkeeping tasks. Clients love Lara’s focussed approach and “can do” attitude.
